Holiday Villa with Pool

The villa is situated between Brignoles and Camps La Source. Brignoles (approximately 5 minutes by car) is the capital of central Var. It is a vibrant town benefiting from many boutiques, restaurants, cafes, historic architecture and an extensive Saturday (morning) market, thus providing every modern convenience whilst still maintaining its rustic charm and beauty. Brilliant for shopping in the sun! For every day food shopping there is a convenient supermarket that is a short drive. Camps La Source (approximately 15 minutes on foot) is a small typical Provencal village, ancient and unchanged. Village life rotates around a small school and the boulangerie. The narrow streets and shuttered buildings give a taste of the traditional French way of life. Slightly further afield, on the road to Forcalqueiret, Auberge des Tuilieries is an award-winning restaurant, a real must for food lovers. For beach lovers there are several fantastic beaches less than half an hour away by car; these can make a pleasant change from the pool although they can become very crowded on the weekends as the French bring their families to the coast.

St Tropez is about an hours drive away and is great for shopping, star spotting and admiring the boats. Monte Carlo and all its attractions is also only an hour and a half away by car!

We highly recommend a visit to Bormes les Mimosas, famously one of the most beautiful villages in France unravelling down its hillside in a cascade of little streets, stairways and flowers, also the Abbaye du Thoronet in Le Thoronet, a majestic 12th century Cistercian abbey and finally Frejus Old Town, which houses some of the oldest ancient Roman remains in Provence.

During your stay in Provence you can also participate in wine tasting at one of the many nearby vineyards. Our particular favourite is Chateau Margilliere. Other local attractions include go carting, golf and mountain biking. We recommend a visit to the Tourist Office in central Brignoles to find out about everything that is on offer.
